Microfilm of diaries, 1892-1946, kept by William Barclay, Jr., the son of William and Mary (Munro Barclay), born April 29, 1877 in Aberdeen, Scotland. William's father, William Barclay, Sr., was one of the founders of Barclay Bros., a granite manufacturing plant in Barre, Vermont. William, Jr. worked for his father at Barclay Brothers and later took over management of the plant. He died March 16, 1956.
