Biographical or historical data :

Nathaniel Burbank (1828-1913) shipped as a seaman aboard the whaling vessel "Joseph Grinnell" out of New Bedford, Mass., 1858-1862. He servedas a gunner's mate during the Civil War. After 1865 he was farmer and stock grower in Walden, Vt.
