Summary :

A scrapbook kept by Theresa Camire covering her years as a student at St. Monica's School and Spaulding High School in Barre, Vermont, and Trinity College in Burlington, Vermont. The scrapbook documents events held mainly at Spaulding High School, including sports, dances, graduation, and alumni activities. Non-school activities are also documented, including movie programs, the Barre Junior Woman's Club, and news items relating to Barre. As well, there is a small collection of war related material, including newsclippings, duty free certificates and Red Cross certificates. There is also ephemera from St. Monica's School, mainly of a religious nature, and from Trinity College.

Biographical or historical data :

Theresa Camire, the daughter of Arthur E. and Eugenia Camire, was born in Barre, Vermont. She attended St. Monica's School, a Catholic parochial school, through eighth grade and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1943. She then entered Trinity College in Burlington, Vermont. After her graduation from Trinity, she married Charles J. Averill.
