Summary :

Photographic reproduction of the "Vermont Declaration of Independence", voted by the General Convention of the New Hampshire Grants on January 15, 1777 and read before the Continental Congress on April 8, 1777. Also included is a document addressed to John Hancock as president of the Continental Congress containing the credentials of the agents sent to present the petition.
