Scrapbook donated by a member of the Pierce family of Townshend, Vermont. The scraps are pasted in a Townshend general store account book covering the years 1803 to 1806. The account book is legible from March 11 to May 2, 1806. The scrapbook contains newsclippings with information on American and English political events, murder trials, and some anti-masonic material dating from 1819 to 1858.
