Summary :

This is a collection of materials from the 1930s and 1940s preserved by 4-H Club leader Marjorie B. Favreau of West Townshend, Vermont. Mrs. Favreau's local club was known as "The Sunshine Workers. The collection consists mainly of materials developed by the State of Vermont Extension Service, College of Agriculture, at the University of Vermont in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. These materials were developed for use by leaders of local 4-H clubs and date from 1933-1944; many are undated. Many of the items emphasize homemaking and health. There is just one sheet of notes in Mrs. Favreau's hand. There are no records of who belonged to the club or how often they met. The collections also contains a panoramic photograph, "Vermont State 4-H Club Week, University of Vermont, June 26 - July 1, 1939".
