Included in the collection are four volumes of depositors' ledgers, three volumes of depositors' registers which include personal information for the period 1874-1882, two volumes of indexes, five volumes of journals, three volumes of miscellanous transaction record books, and one volume of deposits and semi-annual dividends.

Biographical or historical data :

The Burlington Savings Bank opened for business on January 1, 1848, and operated under that title until 1988 when it merged with the Bank of Boston to become the Bank of Vermont. In March 1995 it was acquired by KeyBank.
