Summary :

This collection includes papers of Horace E. Clough, George Farmer, and his granddaughters, Alice and Alma Farmer. Clough's papers include diaries, 1882, 1913-1930, his Civil War discharge and pension papers, letters written to Alice and Alma Farmer, 1917-1934, penmanship and shorthand samples made by Clough while teaching those subjects, miscellaneous financial records, and a will of John N. Arial.

George Farmer's papers include a diary from 1913, account books, 1908-1909, and pension papers and his obituary. There are diaries of Alma Farmer, 1913-1917, and a ration book of Alice Farmer's, and other correspondence to them.
