Dexter B. Town(e) of North Hero, Vt., enlisted as a Sergeant in Co. F, 7th Vermont Regiment, on December 11, 1861. He was promoted to 1st Sergeant on October 13, 1862. He re-enlisted on February 16, 1864, and was commissioned a 1st Lieutenant on May 23, 1865. On October 27, 1865, he was promoted to Captain, and was mustered out of the service on March 14, 1866. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery at Swanton, Vt.

Antoine George Young of North Hero, Vt., was born on September 11, 1845. He enlisted as a Private in Co. K, 7th Vermont Regiment, on August 24, 1864, and was mustered out on March 14, 1866. He died on December 28, 1912, and was buried in Bush Cemetery at Alburg, Vt.
