Vermont state pay vouchers for Richardson E. Brackett, of Stowe, Vt., a soldier in the 11th Vermont Regiment, Co. D., signed by Isaac Brackett.

Richardson E. Brackett was born about 1842 at Sterling (now Stowe), Vt. On August 9, 1862, he enlisted as a private in the 11th Vermont Regiment, Co. D, where he served for 8 months until his death of disease on April 3, 1863, at Washington, D.C. His body was returned to Vermont for burial at Sterling Cemetery.
