The materials in this collection consist of: genealogical charts of the descendants of Daniel (1760?-1825) and Eunice Davis (b. 1769), who settled in Richford, Vt., in 1798, and Thomas Gross of Hartford, Vt.; typescripts of the obituary of Shubal M. Davis (1811-1881) from the "River Falls Journal" (Wisconsin), August 4, 1881; letter to Harriet Holland, October 18, 1989, concerning Daniel Davis which includes a typescript genealogy chart and a photocopy of a handwritten statement by Daniel Davis when he entered Canada (April 26, 1795).
